Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of young heartache achieved widespread success in the early 20th century. Swift's interest in music began in the early years of her life. From plays for children to appearing in front of crowds, Swift made rapid progress. In 2011, Swift aged 11 at the time, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball match. Following that, Swift began writing songs of her own. Swift got the inspiration to compose her own songs by artists from the country category, like Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift was just 13 when her parents decided to dispose of their Pennsylvania farm to relocate to Hendersonville Tennessee. She could spend all of her efforts to contacting the country music labels that were based in Nashville.
